The error might basically occur in every function of the machine.
Suggested solutions:
Check possible parameters that are connected to this function from the programme’s configu-
ration.
Try to repeat the function.
If the error recurs report about the matter to those who are responsible for the maintenance of
the COROB
TM
D300.
Error code 8197: CRC error on data receive.
Explanation:
PC programme gets an answer that includes a CRC error from the machine.
Operating method:
The PC checks the answer coming from the machine with a CRC checking number that is
added to the message. This way the functioning and correctness of the data is ensured.
Occurrences:
All the commands and functions.
Suggested solutions:
Check that the serial line cable is unbroken and properly connected.
Error code 8199: No reply from the machine.
Explanation:
The PC does not get response from the machine, that is the serial line connection is not work-
ing.
Operating method:
All COROB
TM
D300’s communication commands are transmitted from the PC using serial line
connection. The PC programme requires an answer back from the COROB
TM
D300 to given
commands within certain time.
Occurrences:
A command is given from the PC to COROB
TM
D300 but PC has not received an answer back.
Suggested solutions:
Check that COROB
TM
D300 is switched on (OFFLINE light burns).
Check the condition and connection of the serial line cable.
Check that right serial line port is used in the PC and the parameters for the serial line are cor-
rect.
Error code 8501: Error: Cap closed during dispensing
Explanation:
The nozzle closer sensor informs that the nozzle closer is not open during dispensing.
Operating method:
The COROB
TM
D300 checks that the nozzle closer is open during dispensing. This is used to
prevent dispensing into the nozzle cup.
In the beginning of dispense the movement of the dispensing motor is connected with cup
solenoid for a specific pulse period to open the nozzle cup with the lever mechanism. After this
the nozzle cup sensor has to be in open status (OFF).
Occurrences:
The nozzle cup does not for some reason open properly.
Suggested solutions:
Check that the nozzle cup is clean from colorant and has not stuck to the lower surface of the
nozzle preventing the movement of the cup.
Check free movement of the nozzle cup by manually opening and closing the cup.
Check the functionality of the sensor.
Check the functionality of the solenoid that controls the nozzle cup and that the lever mecha-
nism of the cup works properly.
