7 - Koecdriver 45
7KOECDRIVER
Koecdriver program is used to configure and test CPS Color COROB
TM
D300 machine functions.
Program is reading normal Dispense Manager database, so before using Koecdriver you should
configure the COROB
TM
D300 machine configuration ready.
After start up of the Koecdriver you should check from program status bar that the firmware inside
the COROB
TM
D300 is having proper program version, in the following picture firmware version is
501144. If the program is starting slowly then most likely the serial connection to the machine is
broken, or the machine is in power down state.
Below program functions are described one by one.
7.1 Tests
7.1.1 Serial test
First natural function to test is the serial communication between the PC and the COROB
TM
D300.
Check that you have connected serial line cable from the PC COM1 (or some other defined com
port) to machine and run the test.
Test is started by pressing Start button when ‘Serial line’ is enabled from Tests panel. During tests
the first number in test data window shows successful tests, the second number is for test errors.
Stop the test by pressing Stop button when test is ready.
7.1.2 Encoder and zero sensor test
Second test is for testing dispensing motor pulse encoder (PULSE) and also the zero sensor
(
ZERO) that synchronises the pulse counting. Select this test in test selection panel and start by
pressing Start button. Note that you can change the motor speed set up (7..15) during the test,
test tolerance is ±2 pulses. Once again okay and error counter number is shown on the screen.
7.1.3 Cup sensor test
Next test on the list is cup sensor (CUP) test. During the test you must manually move the autocup
from/to the nozzle to see when the sensor state changes from ON to OFF. Normally when autocup
is closed the sensor is ON (active), when totally open the sensor is in OFF state.
7.1.4 Can sensor test
Last on the list is test for the can sensor, that is an infrared sensor situated in can table structure.
By putting e.g. your hand between the IR transmitter and IR receiver you can activate the sensor
to ON (active) state.
