This section describes powering the CoCo on and off, locking the keypad, and
resetting the CoCo-80.
Power on and off the CoCo-80
The Power button is located in the lower-left corner of the CoCo. The very first
time the CoCo-80 is used, it is necessary to set the clock time. All the data
acquired and stored will include the time it was recorded as a file attribute with a
clock time accuracy of seconds.
There are two LEDs on the front panel. The left LED is an indicator for the system
power. When the system is turned on, it will be red. The LED on the right is the
indicator for external power charging. When the CoCo is being charged, it will be
lit in red. When the system is fully charged and still connected to the external DC
power, it will be lit in green.
