Yourbicyclemaycomeequippedwitheithera
standard or a micro-adjustable seatpost.
Attachtheseattotheseatpostbyfirstloosening
thenutsontheseatclamp.Insertthetaperedend
of the seat post into the seat clamp until it is at the
topoftheclamp.Partiallytightenthenutsonthe
seat clamp, then insert the seat assembly into the
frame of the bicycle and adjust the seat to the proper
height. The seat post must be inserted to at least
the“MinimumInsertion”line.Movethequickrelease
levertotheclosedposition.Youshouldfeelconsiderableresistancewhilemovingthelever.Ifnot,re-openandtightenthe
lever,thenmoveittotheclosedposition.Seethesectioninthismanualregardingquickreleasesformoredetailedinstructions.
Adjusttheseattobecenteredintheclampandgenerallylevelwiththeground,thenre-tightentheclampnutsevenlybefore
riding.Avoidridingthebikewithaloosesaddle.
Loosentheseatfixingbolt,thenslidetheseatintotheclamp.Thetwoseatrailsshouldfitintothecorrespondingchannels
intheclamp.Thereisusuallynoneedtocompletelyremovethefixingbolt,butitmaybenecessaryinsomecases.Partially
tighten the seat fixing bolt, then insert the seat assembly into the frame of the bicycle and adjust the seat to the proper height.
Theseatpostmustbeinsertedtoatleastthe“MinimumInsertion”line.Movethequickreleaselevertotheclosedposition.
Youshouldfeelconsiderableresistancewhilemovingthelever.Ifnot,re-openandtightenthelever,thenmoveittotheclosed
position.Seethesectioninthismanualregardingquickreleasesformoredetailedinstructions.Adjusttheseattobecentered
intheclampandgenerallylevelwiththeground,thenre-tightentheseatfixingboltbeforeriding.Avoidridingthebikewitha
loose saddle.
NOTE:Somemodelsofbicyclesmaybeequippedwithasuspensionseatpost(Seediagramonnextpage).Somesuspension
postscanbeadjustedforstiffnessusingthepreloadadjustingscrew.Turningthe6mmAllenscrewClockwisewillmakethe
suspensionstiffer,whileturningthe6mmAllenscrewCounter-clockwisewillmakethesuspensionsofter.
