5. Press the down arrow until Test Card displays on line 2.
6. With Test Card displayed on line 2, press E
NTER to display Start
on line 2.
7. Press E
NTER to print the test card.
After the card prints, the printer returns to Ready.
Set Up Network Access
Work with your network support personnel to make sure that the printer is set up within your
organization.
You may need to perform the following tasks:
Know the IP address of the printer.
Set up network security.
Define network permissions to the printer.
Your organization is responsible for network setup and security.
Verify Network Communication
Access Printer Manager to verify that your computer and the printer can communicate over the
network. You also can use Printer Manager to perform other printer setup tasks, as necessary.
Refer to Chapter 3: "Printer Manager” for complete information about using Printer Manager.
