Clean the Inside of the Printer
Use the following procedure to clean the inside of the printer. Do this procedure after you have
cleaned the printhead cam rollers using the sticky cleaning card.
1. Power on the printer.
2. Unlock the input hopper lock, if necessary.
3. Peel off the wrapper from the other side of the cleaning card.
4. Insert the cleaning card.
Single-Hopper Printer
a. Open the input hopper cover.
b. Insert the cleaning card into the input hopper.
Multi-Hopper Printer
Insert the cleaning card into the multi-
hopper exception slide.
5. Close and lock the printer, if necessary.
The cleaning card may become bowed slightly during
shipment. If the card is bowed, make sure that you
insert the card into the printer as shown.
