Possible status options:
• Up Time: Indicates how long the device has been on since last resetting.
• BackUp State: Indicates how the link protection for the main aggregate (MAIN) is acting. If the
protection is off, this field will always indicate the use of the main channel (Using Main).
− Common values for all topologies:
o Using Main: The data are passing through the main aggregate link (MAIN).
o Failure: Fail in main and backup link.
− Specific value for Point to Point topologies (Point to Point):
o Using Backup: The device is using the data provided from the protection link (BACKUP).
The aggregates are operating in redundant transmission.
− Values for Ring topologies:
o Using Ring Backup: Indicates that, due to a failure in the main link, the device is using
data provided by the protection ring (BACKUP ring).
