11. VOICE CHANNEL
On the front panel of the equipment, there is an RJ11 connector available for the connection of a common
telephone set, aimed at communication between operators.
By removing the receiver from the hook, a bell will automatically ring at the remote units. Note that no ring
will be generated at the telephone set. The communication channel is established when the two receiver
sets are off the hook.
When operating in a loopback, when one receiver is taken off the hook, all the others will ring, and the first
receiver to answer will communicate with the caller, while the others will be inoperative.
