5.7.1. Configuration
The V.35 tributary is set at the equipment slot 4. The screen below shows the configuration menu for this
tributary (/settings/ports/V.35).

The V.35 interface configurations include:
• Alarms: Enables alarm generation by the port. Alarm generation is dependent on signal enabling.
Alarm conditions:
− Loss of CT113 or CT128 clock configured.
− CT105 or CT108 disabled (off).
• Tests: Enables activation of tests at the interface.
• CT105 and CT108: External signals received by the DTE. Can be set to Controlled or Forced ON.
• Clock: Identifies the clock used as reference for CT103.
− 2048kHz E1 AIS Ref. Clock: Uses the 2048 kHz clock for AIS emission in case of failure. This
clock is selected in the general equipment configurations. See chapter Table 5 for more information.
