• Link: Reception status at the port:
− Sync. OK: Receiving data.
− Rec. AIS: Receiving AIS (marked signal).
− LOS: Absence of electric signal at the levels specified.
− No Frame Sync.: Absence of frame sync.
• Remote Alarm: Alarm on the remote equipment. The alarm indication is received inside the E3
frame. In a transparent operation, this indication is not available.
7.13. Tests
The test menu allows the activation of LAL and LDL on the internal E3 interface. The active test is
indicated on the Test Function field.

Options 1, 2 and 3 disable tests, enable LDL and enable LAL, respectively.
