2.1. About this guide
This guide can be used for all DATACOM DM4000 Metro Ethernet Series, providing information about
installation and characteristics of the DM4000 family.
This guide focuses on the physical, electrical, status indications and installation portion of the hardware. It
is assumed that the individual or individuals managing any aspect of this product have basic understanding
of Switching, Routing, Ethernet, and general Telecommunications.
