Chapter 5. DM4004 Chassis
5.1. Overview
The DM4004 chassis is compatible with all MPUs and interface boards of the DM4000 Series. It is
available in two versions: for use in 19" and 23" racks. The 19" chassis is the standard version while the
23" has a better temperature perfomance and a dust filter option.
Both versions have a backplane that can handle up to 384Gbps of non-blocking data. They have four
interface board slots, two MPU slots, two general purpose slots and one FAN module slot.
