The control is equipped with two serial ports (RS-232). With these parameters you can
assign certain applications to these serial ports. To change these settings, contact your
machine supplier. The following settings are available:
DNC
The serial port is used for DNC operation, which means the control can be accessed by a
computer through a serial connection according to RS-232.
Other settings are machine-dependent. If a serial port is already programmed to another
setting, it is not available for DNC anymore.
