Prerequisites
1 Remove the stand.
2 Remove the back cover.
3 Remove the hard drive.
4 Remove the system-board shield.
5 Remove the wireless card.
6 Remove the heat sink.
7 Remove the base cover.
8 Remove the rear-I/O bracket.
9 Remove the system board.
Procedure
NOTE
: The following procedure only applies to computers shipped with Full High Denition (FHD) displays.
1 Remove the power-adapter port cable through the routing guides on the display-assembly base.
2 Remove the two screws (M3x5) that secure the power-adapter port to the display-assembly base.
3 Lift the power-adapter port, along with its cable, o the display-assembly base.
