Replacing the display panel

Procedure
NOTE: The touchscreen cable is only present in computers shipped with touchscreen displays.
1 Place the display-assembly base in its upright position, and slide the display panel into the slot between the middle frame and the
display-assembly base.
2 Push the display cable, touchscreen cable, and display-backlight cable through the slots on the display-assembly base.
3 Push the display panel towards the display-assembly base, closing the gap between the display panel and the middle frame.
NOTE
: Ensure the display cable, touchscreen cable, and display-backlight cable has been fully threaded through the slots on
the display-assembly base before closing the gap between the display panel and the middle frame.
4 Place the display-assembly base on a clean and at surface with the display panel facing down and screw in the jig screw in the
location shown.
NOTE
: For proper gap alignment of the display panel and the middle frame, ensure that this step is completed before
replacing the screws.
