Removing the internal speaker
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the side cover.
About this task

Steps
1. Gently pull open the retention clip that secures the internal-speaker cable to the chassis.
2. Remove the speaker cable from the retention clip.
3. Disconnect the speaker cable from the connector (INT SPKR) on the system board.
4. Press the tab on the internal speaker, slide the internal speaker upwards, and lift the internal speaker along with the cable
from the slot on the chassis.

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
