Installing the system board
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working on your system
3. Remove the following:
a. System cover.
b. Air shroud.
c. Memory modules.
d. Processor.
e. Heatsink.
f. Expansion card riser(if installed).
g. Internal PERC card or Front PERC riser (if installed).
Steps
1. Unpack the new system board.
CAUTION: Do not lift the system board by holding a memory module, processor, or other components.
2. Holding the system board holder lower the system board in to the chassis.
3. Incline the system board at an angle, align the connectors with the slots on the rear of the system and push the system
board till firmly seated.
4. Install and tighten the eight screws to secure the system board in place,
