Steps
1. Hold the PERC card by the metal holder and align the connector to the slot on the system board.
2. Slide the PERC card into the slot till its firmly seated.
3. Install and tighten the two screws to secure the PERC card.

Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working on your system .
3. Remove air shroud.
4. Remove the expansion card riser (if installed).
Steps
1. Loosen the two thumbscrews on the front PRERC module.
2. Pull the PERC module towards the front to the system to disconnect it from the drive backplane and lift from the system.
