System
The C|24 System pages let you view component
firmware versions and Ethernet information,
name the C|24 unit, and reset the C|24 to its fac-
tory settings.
Firmware Versions
This page shows the Comm board and Motor
Control board firmware versions.
To view the current firmware versions for C|24
components:
1 Press the Utility switch.
2 Press the encoder switch that corresponds to
“System.”
3 Hold the encoder switch that corresponds to
“FW Versions.”
4 When you are finished, press the encoder
switch that corresponds to “Exit.”
Ethernet
This page shows the following information for
the C|24:
• Unit Name (as named on the Unit Name
page)
• Unit Number: Digidesign serial number for
the unit
• Frame Type: Ethernet packet type used by
Digidesign for control surface communica-
tion
• Ethernet ID: Ethernet address (Machine
Address Code) for the unit
To view the Ethernet information for C|24:
1 Press the Utility switch.
2 Press the encoder switch that corresponds to
“System.”
3 Hold the encoder switch that corresponds to
“Ethernet.”
4 When you are finished, press the encoder
switch that corresponds to “Exit.”
Unit Name
This page lets you view, change, or reset the
C|24 Unit Name.
To name C|24 from the unit:
1 Press the Utility switch.
2 Press the encoder switch that corresponds to
“System.”
3 Press the encoder switch that corresponds to
“Unit Name. “
The unit name appears in the LCD displays. The
first character of the name flashes to indicate
text entry.
4 To change the selected character, turn the en-
coder under “Character.”
5 To move forward and backward in the text
field, turn the encoder under “Position.”
6 When you are finished, press the encoder
switch that corresponds to “Save.”
