B.2.3 Unpacking the Computer (North America only)
1. Remove the central processing unit (CPU), keyboard, mouse, and all
documentation from the computer box and place these items on a
workbench.
2. Remove the monitor from its box and place it on the workbench.
3. Follow the instructions in the computer installation guide to hook up
the monitor, mouse, keyboard, and CPU.
4. Go on to Section B.4

B.2.4 Unpacking the Computer (outside North America)
1. Refer to Installing the Chromeleon Chromatography Management
System with a Dionex Ion Chromatograph (Document No. 031883) to
verify that the computer being used meets Chromeleon specifications.
2. Remove the central processing unit (CPU), keyboard, mouse, and all
documentation from the computer box and place these items on a
workbench.
3. Remove the monitor from its box and place it on the workbench.
4. Follow the instructions in the computer installation guide to hook up
the monitor, mouse, keyboard, and CPU.
5. If Chromeleon is already installed on the computer, go on to
Section B.4
. Otherwise, go on to Section B.3 to install Chromeleon.
