USER MANUALRelease 1.2 of 01/01/2010 Page 123 of 191
Version: 02/03/2010
Par. FA02 fan working mode
0 = depends on the compressor, fans only active if compressor is active
1 = independent from the active fans compressor with selected working mode off in stand-by/OFF
FA01 FA02 PARAMETER COMBINATIONS
Par. FA01 = 1 + Par. FA02 = 0
On when the compressor is active (parallel working)
Par. FA01 = 1 + Par. FA02 = 1
On independently from the compressor (apart from unit in stand-by)
Par. FA01 = 2 + Par. FA02 = 0
On when the compressor is active with step regulation ON/OFF (with at least one relay configured as
condensation control step) controlled by the condensation temperature/pressure, evaporation pressure.
When the compressor switches off, the fans switch-off independently from the condensation
temperature/pressure and evaporation pressure.
Par. FA01 = 2 + Par. FA02 = 1
On when the compressor is active with step regulation ON/OFF (with at least one relay configured as
condensation control step) controlled by the condensation temperature/pressure, evaporation pressure.
When the compressor switches off, the fans switch-off on the basis of the controlled value of the
condensation temperature/pressure and evaporation pressure.
Par. FA01 = 3 + Par. FA02 = 0
On when the compressor is active with continuous step regulation ON/OFF (with at least one relay
configured as condensation control step) controlled by the condensation temperature/pressure, evaporation
pressure. When the compressor switches off, the fans switch-off independently from the condensation
temperature/pressure and evaporation pressure.
Par. FA01 = 3 + Par. FA02 = 1
On when the compressor is active with continuous step regulation ON/OFF (with at least one relay
configured as condensation control step) controlled by the condensation temperature/pressure, evaporation
pressure. When the compressor switches off, the fans switch-off on the basis of the controlled value of the
condensation temperature/pressure and evaporation pressure.
Par. FA01 = 4 + Par. FA02 = 0
On when the compressor is active with proportional regulation (PWM output / 0÷10V) controlled by the
condensation temperature/ pressure. When the compressor switches off, the fans switch-off independently
from the condensation temperature/pressure.
Par. FA01 = 4 + Par. FA02 = 1
On when the compressor is active with proportional regulation (PWM output / 0÷10V) controlled by the
condensation temperature/ pressure. When the compressor switches off, the fans switch-off on the basis of
the condensation temperature/pressure.
46.1 IF THE PWM/ 0÷10V SIGNAL TRIAC OUTPUT IS USED
If FA01=4 and the condensation fan/s are connected to the proportional output, parameters FA03, FA04
have meaning.
At every start-up the fan is powered at maximum voltage for time FA03 independently from the condensation
temperature/pressure. On the expiry of this time period the fan will continue at the speed set by the
regulator.
FA04 establishes a delay in micro seconds to compensate the different features of the electric motors.
If FA01=4 and on start-up of the compressor the proportional regulator requests fan switch-off (cut-off) and
FA14!0 the fan will be forced at minimum speed for the time set. If FA14=0 the function is not enabled.
The analogue output has been linked to the ON / OFF digital output: if the analogue output > 0 then the
digital output = 1; if the analogue output< 0 then the digital output = 0.
46.2 IF THE STEP RELAY OUTPUTS ARE USED
Up to 4 relay outputs are available for the control condensation fans. Each relay configured as a ventilation
step is assigned with its own activation/deactivation set and differential.
