10. ELECTRONIC THERMOSTATIC VALVE MANAGEMENT DRIVER
The XEV20D module is a driver for motorised electronic thermostatic valves (Stepper) of both the bipolar
and unipolar type.
Up to 4 driver modules XEV20D can be connected to the iPro.CHILL for driving up to 8 electronic expansion
valves.
Their address (configured via DIP switches) must be between 1 (Driver number 1) to 4 (Driver number 4) and
must be consecutive, that is if 2 modules are configured they must have addresses 1 and 2.
10.1 DRIVER MODULE LEDS MEANING/WORKING
The following table gives the working mode of the LEDs
Indicates the presence of a general alarm situation
CAN Bus or LAN, communication active
Indicates that valve 1 is opening
Indicates that valve 1 is completely open
Indicates that valve 1 is closing
Indicates that valve 1 is completely closed
Indicates that valve 2 is opening
Indicates that valve 2 is completely open
Indicates that valve 2 is closing
Indicates that valve 2 is completely closed
