 Ribbon Save Modes
Primarily provided to reduce ink ribbon use, ‘Ribbon Save’ modes can also be used to improve
printer performance. Unless stated otherwise, all modes can be used in both Intermittent and
Continuous printing.
Tools > Settings > Printer > Printing > Print Features > Ribbon Save Mode

The printer uses the same piece of ink ribbon twice, halving the amount of ink ribbon used.
50% of the ink is removed from the ink ribbon during the rst print and the remaining ink is
removed from the ink ribbon during the second print.
