3. Troubleshooting
Do not use a ammable static electricity removal spray.
Doing so could cause build-up of gas inside the machine,
which in turn could cause ignition, resulting in re and explosion.
Condition Cause Solution
Power is not turned on. The power cord is not connected. Connect the power cord.

The machine does not
start operation when the
start key is pressed.
Paper is not stacked. Stacking paper on the paper feed tray.

The paper switch is not responding. Stacking paper in correct position so that
the paper switch responds.
