3. MAINTENANCE MENU
3-1. Entering the Maintenance Menu
Press the escape button once on the initial screen of the control panel. Turn the jog dial by three clicks towards the
right, and press the clear button once. A beep will be sounded. Turn the jog dial by 5 clicks towards the left, and press
the clear button once. Two beeps will be sounded and “Maintenance Menu” will be displayed. Press the jog dial to
enter the maintenance menu. If a button has been pressed incorrectly halfway through, press the escape button
several times to return to the initial screen and start over again. To return to the normal standby state, press the
escape button several times.
The ROM version display, simulation mode, sensor check mode, and motor/solenoid test mode, etc. can be checked
at the maintenance menu.
3-2. ROM Version Display
Turn the jog dial to display “ROM Version”, and press the jog dial. Each control ROM program version will be
displayed.
3-3. Simulation Mode
In the simulation mode, each mechanism operates without paper.
Turn the jog dial to display “Simulation Mode”, and press the jog dial. “P.Less Running” will be displayed. Press the
start button to start the machine in the simulation mode, and stop with the stop button.
