3-9. Feed Speed Setting
Turn the jog dial to display “Feed Speed”, and press the jog dial. Turn the jog dial to set the paper feed speed.
3-10. Double-feed Sensor Data Mode
This mode can be used to set the light volume when the paper thickness to be detected is set to “Heavy” or “Thin” in
double-feed sensor. It can be also used to pass paper to check the detection data of the double-feed sensor. As an
example, the following shows the procedure for setting to “Heavy”. The procedure is the same for “Thin”.
To set the paper feed tray B from the normal standby state, set “B Sheet Set.” to “Yes” and then perform the test
feeding, enter the number of sets and number of sheets in one set. Display the “LED Heavy Data” of “Double Feed
Data” from the maintenance menu and press the jog dial. “A.LED–H = 0[0], B.LED–H = 0[0]” will be displayed.
Pressing the start button feeds paper for the number of sets set, after which the machine stops. The value after “=” is
the current light volume set, and the value in [ ] is the data detected per sheet.
To change the light volume set, press the jog dial in this state. When “A.Led Setting” is displayed (turning the jog dial
here displays “B.Led Setting”), press the jog dial further and enter the value to be set.
Double-feed is determined by comparing the light-receiving data detected when the paper passes with this light
volume (determined automatically when the paper thickness to be detected is set to “Auto”). Optimum detection can
be performed when this detected data is within 110 ± 10.

3-11. End Mark Sensor Data Mode
Turn the jog dial to display “Mark Sensor Data”, and press the jog dial.
This mode can be used to check the current light-emitting volume (LED data) and light-receiving volume data of end
mark sensors 1 and 2. To change the light-emitting volume (LED data), perform the procedure in “3-12. End Mark
Sensor Setting Mode”.

3-12. End Mark Sensor Setting Mode
Turn the jog dial to display “M.Sensor Setting”, and press the jog dial.
This mode can be used to set the light-emitting volume (LED data) of end mark sensors 1 and 2. Turn the jog dial and
select “Sensor1” or “Sensor2” and then press the jog dial. Enter the value to be set by turning the jog dial, and press
the jog dial to confirm the value.

3-13. Total Count
Turn the jog dial to display “Total count”, and press the jog dial. The number of paper feeding performed by the paper
feed tray A until now can be checked.
3-14. Finisher Setting
Turn the jog dial to display “Finisher Setting”, and press the jog dial. Turn the jog dial to select the finisher to be used.
