4 Operation
The operating sequence consists of several different steps.
Fault-free operation is necessary in order to achieve a good sewing result.
4.1 Preparing the machine for operation
Complete the following steps in preparation of sewing before starting to
work:
• Inserting/changing the needle
• Threading the needle thread
• Inserting and winding on the hook thread
• Setting the thread tensions
4.2 Switching on the machine

To switch on the machine:
1. Turn the main switch from position 0 to position I.
The machine starts up.
The control panel starts up.
WARNING
Risk of injury from moving, cutting and sharp
parts!
Crushing, cutting and punctures are possible.
If possible, make preparations only when the
machine is switched off.
