7.5 Pneumatic connection
The pneumatic system of the machine and of the additional equipment
must be supplied with dry and oil-free compressed air. The supply pres-
sure must lie between 8 and 10 bar.
7.5.1 Fitting the compressed air maintenance unit
To fit the compressed air maintenance unit:
1. Connect the connection hose to the compressed air supply using a
hose coupling R 1/4”.
7.5.2 Setting the operating pressure
Proper setting
Refer to the Technical data ( p. 245) chapter for the permissible oper-
ating pressure. The operating pressure must not deviate by more than
± 0.5 bar.
NOTICE
Property damage from oily compressed air!
Oil particles in the compressed air can cause malfunctions of the
machine and soil the sewing material.
Ensure that no oil particles enter the compressed air supply.
NOTICE
Property damage from incorrect setting!
Incorrect system pressure can result in damage to the machine.
Ensure that the machine is only used when the system pressure is
set correctly.

Property damage due to incorrect operating pressure!
Incorrect operating pressure can result in damage to the machine.
Ensure that the machine is only used when the operating pressure
is set correctly.
