Tools and Equipment
For your safety andthat of other peoplein the working environment, it is strongly
recommendedthat you useelectrostatic discharge (ESD) equipment. The proper useof this
equipment will ensuresuccessful repair work and reducethe costsfor repairing damaged
components. The equipment and tools required for disassembly andreassemblyare:
One 2 mm Phillips screwdriver
One 4 mm flat-blade screwdriver
Torx screwdriver
Tweezers(for pulling out screws)
ESD mats(for the floor andwork desks)
An ESD wrist strap or heel grounder
Anti-static carpetsor flooring
Air ionizers (for highly electrostaticsensitiveareas)
A plastic card(in credit card size)
