Check1 Make sure the keyboard cable hasbeen firmly connectedto the system
board.

If the cableislooseor off, reconnectit firmly and return to Procedure1. If
there isstill an error, perform Check2.
Check2 Thekeyboardmay be faulty. Replaceit with a new one following the
instructions in Chapter 4. If the problem persists,perform Check3.
Check3 The Systemboard maybe faulty. Replaceit with a new one following the
instructionsin Chapter4. If the keyboardisstill not functioning properly,
perform Check4.
Check4 The memory maybe defective. Replacethe memory module with a new one
following the stepsdescribedin Chapter 4.
