CAUTION: The contents of the HDD will be erased when the HDD diagnostic test or
formatting is executed. Savethe required contentsof the HDDto other storage drive in
advance.

Check1 Make sure the following connectorshave been firmly connectedto the HDD,
systemboard.

System board
If any connectorislooseor off, reconnectit firmly and return to Procedure1.
If there isstill an error, perform Check2.
Check2 The HDDmay be damaged. Replaceit with a new one following the
disassemblinginstructionsin Chapter 4. If the problem persists,perform
Check3.
Check3 The Systemboard may be damaged. Replaceit with a new one following the
disassemblinginstructions in Chapter 4.
