Check1 Make sure Smart CardBoard FFCCablehasbeen firmly connected to the
connector on SystemBoard. Alsomake sure Smart CardBoard is free of
foreign matters.
            

Check2 Smart CardBoardmay be faulty. Replaceit with a new one following the
stepsdescribedin Chapter 4. If Smart CardBoardreplaced is still not
functioning properly, perform Check3.
Check3 SystemBoard may be defective. Replace SystemBoard with a new one
following stepsdescribedin Chapter 4.
