To progress to the next page, press the Select button. Each time the button is pressed the
display moves to the next page. The display may also be setup to automatically cycle
the display through the pages, pausing if the Select button is pressed.
For more detailed information on the LCD and Select button see Chapter 7: “LCD
Display”.
Connect / Boost Button
An optional Connect, Boost, or Billing Reset button may be fitted on the left hand side
of the meter (SeeFigure 4-14). The push button cannot be sealed.
• Figure 5-17 Location of the Billing Reset / Boost button
When used as a Connect button (also called a Reconnect button), holding the button
down for at least half a second will connect the customers supply, if it is enabled for
connection. The display will show “Connect”. If it is not enabled, the display will show
“not enabled” and the contactor state will not change.
Pushing both the Select button and the Reconnect button at the same time will cause the
contactor to be disconnected. The message “Disconnect” will be displayed on the LCD.
The Reconnect button can also cause a boost operation for load control outputs,
depending on configuration.
Note that the relay may not change state immediately. If another operation has just been
performed, it may take 60 seconds to perform the requested operation.
EziView can configure what operations are permitted using the button. EziView can
also be used to configure the button as a billing reset button - go to Security Setup and
un-check the Billing Reset Button Disabled checkbox. Since the button cannot be
sealed though this is of limited use.
