Fitting a Modem
The meter has an optional extended terminal cover which allows a GSM/GPRS modem
to be fitted under cover, and within the terminal cover seal of the meter. Figure 5-18
shows a meter with the cover fitted.

The modem is securely mounted under the cover, and a clear cover keeps it in place and
protects the modem and wiring from the main TB1 wiring. The clear cover clips into
position, and can be easily removed to access the modem. The modem shown in Figure
5-19 is an ETM9300 GSM/GPRS modem from ETM Pacific.
