Sequence Descripon
Warm-up
Pump runs at 110 Hz (inverter frequency 220 Hz) unl it reaches the w
orking
temperature and then goes on‑process. Meanwhile, an warm up nished
warning is generated.
On-process
Inlet isolaon valve opened (if ed).
The pump goes straight to full speed.
The pump will not go on-process if there are acve w
arnings.
Gas ballast is opened (if needed).
6.1.2 Dry pump speed control
The dry pump is designed t
o run directly at maximum speed (110 Hz, inverter frequency
220 Hz) when powered on. For speed control purpose, adjust `q1-04' parameter of the
inverter by keypad or MODBUS communicaon. The allowable seng range of
parameter `q1-04' is 27 to 100, which is corresponding with 30 Hz to 110 Hz (inverter
frequency 220 Hz) of dry pump running speed respecvely.
Note:
Seng 'q1-04' higher than 100 is not allowed.
6.2 Manual shut down
WARNING:
Do not remo
ve the inlet connecons unl the pump has been allowed to stop
rotang and the power has been isolated. The pump can take up to three minutes to
completely stop.
WARNING:
If you s
witch o water‐cooling by closing both cooling‐water inlet and outlet, the
temperature may rise and result in unacceptable high water pressure and the water
circuit may leak.
CAUTION:
If the pump is s
t
opped without the gas purge cycle on processes that have
condensable or solid by‑products then the pump may not restart.
CAUTION:
For
applicaons pumping liquids or condensible gases: If the pump is switched o
straight aer the process then the liquids may remain trapped in the pump. These
liquids can corrode the pump mechanism while the dry pumping system is switched
o for extended periods and may prevent the pump from starng again. For these
applicaons, we recommend to operate the EXS pump for at least 40 minutes with all
purge on. Once the pump has stopped, seal the inlet and exhaust to prevent
migraon of liquid/condensates back into the pump mechanism.
