Move the dry pumping system to its operang
posion using any of the following
methods:
Use a forkli or pallet truck to li the dry pumping system.
WARNING:
Do not ex
ceed the topple angle when moving the dry pumping system. When using a
forkli or pallet truck, adjust the forks to li around the centre of gravity.
CAUTION:
When using a forkli or palle
t truck to li the dry pumping system, make sure to
insert the forks through the specied posion of the base frame of the dry pumping
system. The base frame has cut‐outs for forkli access.
Refer to the Installaon drawings on page 29 for the topple angle and centre of gravity
informaon.
Li the dry pumping system by the liing bracket.

WARNING:
Ensure tha
t the maximum angle between the paired slings used to li the dry
pumping system is 45°.
Each dry pumping system is provided with four liing brackets to enable liing. Refer to
Front view on page 10.
Ensure that all the liing brackets are used when liing the dry pumping system.
5.2.1 Dry pumping systems with oponal castors
WARNING:
Dry pumping s
ystems ed with castors should only be wheeled short distances over
at surfaces. If the oor surface is uneven or has obstacles, the dry pumping system
should be lied with suitable liing equipment.
Dry pumping systems are supplied with an opon of castors. For dry pumping systems
ed with castors, it is important to note that the castors are intended only to aid the
manoeuvre of the dry pumping system into its nal operang posion. Dry pumping
systems should be moved near to their nal operang posions using either a forkli or
pallet truck or lied via the liing brackets as described above.
The force required to push a dry pumping system on its castors varies greatly depending
on the surface nish, cleanliness of the oor and any slopes or inclines.
It is your responsibility to carry out a risk assessment of their locaon and take
appropriate measures to ensure that the dry pumping system is manoeuvred safely and
in accordance with local and naonal manual handling guidelines.
