WARNING:
Ensure tha
t the dry pumping system and the electrical supply cable are suitably
protected against earth (ground) faults and that the earth (ground) conductor of the
electrical supply cable is longer than the phase conductors in the connector.
WARNING:
The second protecve earth (ground) conductor (with a cross-seconal area at least
equal to the phase conductor size up to 16 mm
2
) must be ed to the protecve
earth (ground) stud. Refer to Rear view on page 12.
WARNING:
The po
w
er wiring to the dry pumping system must be properly protected.
CAUTION:
To ensur
e compliance with European Electromagnec Compability (EMC)
requirements for EMC emissions, note that it is not intended for use in domesc
buildings, or in the properes directly connected to an electrical supply network
which also supplies domesc buildings.
To use the dry pumping system with a power supply in a dierent voltage range to that
specied on the rang plate, contact us.
The dry pumping system is protected from motor overloads and short circuits by
solidstate electronics. The power wiring between the dry pumping system and the
electrical installaon must be protected. When selecng input fuses, refer to Electrical
data on page 20. Pump rang informaon can be found on the label on the rear of the
pump.
To connect the electrical supply to the dry pumping system through an ELCB (or RCD
depending on territory) it must be suitable for protecon of equipment with a d.c.
component in the fault current, for short duraon switchon surges and high leakage
current (for example, type B, according to EN50178).
The secondary protecve earth (ground) is required in case of a failure of the primary
earth and because pump lters can cause high earth leakage currents. Refer to Table:
General electrical data.
5.8.1 Mains supply cable connecon
WARNING:
The mains terminal is not appr
oved for connecon and disconnecon under load.
Use the following instrucons t
o make the electrical supply cable:
1. Refer to Electrical data on page 20 for cable sizes and type to determine the most
appropriate cable for the dry pumping system.
