Use the following procedure to connect the cooling water supply and ensure that the
dr
y pumping s
ystem is receiving the correct water ow rate. Before starng, ensure that
the electrical power supply to the dry pumping system is switched o.
1. Use BSPT pipe ngs (not supplied) to t the c
ooling water supply and return
hoses.
2. Connect the water return hose to the cooling water outlet (refer to Front view on
page 10). Fit a water ow meter into the water supply line close to the pump and
then connect the water supply hose to the cooling water inlet (refer to Rear view
on page 12). Take care not to turn the bulkhead ngs on the pump when
ghtening up the connectors.
3. Turn on the cooling water supply.
4. Switch on the electrical power to the dry pumping system.
5. Adjust the water ow r
ate so that it meets the requirements.
6. Once the water ow rate has been set the water ow meter may be removed.
7. Inspect the water hoses, pipelines and connecons and check that there are no
leaks.
Turn o the water supply while compleng the remainder of the installaon procedures.

When ng accessories inside the enclosure, ensur
e that the pump is switched o.
Lockout and tagout the electrical supply before removing the enclosure panels.
