13.2 The rest of the system
The rest of the system must be checked once a year as follows:
1. Motors
Joints and connections must be visually inspected.
During the inspection, the motors, joints and connections must be checked for
dust, moisture, etc.
2. Low current material
Joints and connections must be visually inspected. Each individual component
must also be checked visually. During this inspection, the components must
be cleaned of dust, moisture, etc.
3. Control panel
The control panel must be regularly checked and cleaned.
4. Emergency stop
The emergency stop must be checked. This is done by activating an
emergency stop. The two green lamps in the emergency stop relay should
extinguish and the red lamp should remain lit.
NB: The control cabinet and electrical junction box must be closed during
operation.
When repair/maintenance work is carried out on the installation, transport
routes or other electrical equipment, the main switch must be switched off and
locked.
