Touch point color Description
Blue This color indicates that a shutdown of the system or component is
required before you can perform the task, such as removing a
component with a blue lever.
Power supply replacement
This procedure describes how to remove and a replace a power supply.
Identify the failed power supply unit
Procedure
1. Check the service LED on the affected power supply unit.
If a power supply unit is found to be faulted, the service required LED is a solid
amber.
2. Log in as sysadmin.
3. Enter the alerts show current command to display messages indicating
power supply failure. A sample output is shown.
