Place the right sides of the fabric together.
Sew a bottom seam 2cm from the right edge
to the zipper bottom stop position. Sew a
few stitches in reverse to lock. Increase the
stitch length to maximum, set the tension
below 2, and baste the remaining length of
the fabric.

Fold back to the left seam allowance.
Turn under the right seam allowance to form
3mm (1/8 inch) fold.

Attach the zipper foot. Attach the right side
of the presser foot pin to the holder when
sewing the left side of the zipper. Attach the
left side of the presser foot pin to the presser
foot holder when sewing the right side of the
zipper.

Stitch the left side of zipper from bottom to
top.

Turn the fabric right side out, stitch across
the lower end and right side of zipper.

Stop about 5cm (2 inches) from the top of
zipper. Remove the basting and open the
zipper. Stitch the remainder of the seam.
