Telephone Operating Instructions
To answer calls in the headset operating mode, press the ANSWER button or the calling
button.
To originate calls in the headset operating mode, press an idle button or dial a number.
Handsfree operation will not be invoked as long as the handset is in the cradle.
To put the telephone in the group listen mode during a headset call, press the SPEAKER
button.
For data port dialing, the system recognizes the Hayes protocol prefix ATDP. When the
serial port of a personal computer is connected via a data terminal adapter to a 30-button
telephone, the prefix can be used to dial from the computer.
