Digit 0 revokes a previously stored PIN.
Digit 1 applies the PIN to the next trunk accessed or reaccepted. The PIN will be
revoked at end of call.
Digit 2 applies the PIN to the next trunk accessed or reaccepted. The PIN is
permanently stored for use on all later trunk calls.
Digit 3 applies the PIN to the trunk currently on transfer hold. The PIN will be
revoked at end of call.
Digit 4 applies the PIN to the trunk currently on transfer hold. The PIN is
permanently stored for use on all later trunk calls.
To enter the account code and access a trunk to make an outgoing call:
Lift the handset.
When you hear system dial tone, press the ACCOUNT CODE button, or dial the
Account Code access code.
When you hear system dial tone again, dial the account number.
If you used the ACCOUNT CODE button, you hear confirmation tone; if you used
the dial access code, you hear system dial tone.
Dial a trunk access code.
When you hear CO dial tone, dial the outside number.
To enter the account code during an incoming or outgoing trunk call:
Press the TRANSFER HOLD button to put the call on hold. The TRANSFER HOLD
button indicator changes to ACTIVE. The held call button indicator changes to T-
HOLD.
When you hear system dial tone, press the ACCOUNT CODE button or dial the
Account Code access code.
When you hear system dial tone again, dial the account number.
Press the button associated with the held call to return to the trunk. The
TRANSFER HOLD button indicator changes to IDLE; the held call button indicator
changes to ACTIVE.
If you dial an incorrect account number, you hear reorder tone after you dial
the last digit.
The procedure for entering the authorization code is the same as that for entering the
account code, except that the AUTHORIZATION CODE button or the Authorization Code
access code is used.
