Telephone Operating Instructions
When you hear dial tone, dial the destination extension. The incoming call will be
transferred immediately and parked at the destination station.
Page the destination party to inform them of the call parked at their station.
To park a call to a station if the destination party choose not to take the call immediately:
After you have put the call on transfer hold, call the destination station to announce
the call.
If the destination cannot take the call immediately, press the PARK TO STATION
button. The held call will be put on hold at the destination party's telephone.
Your telephone is released from the call, and the destination party can retrieve the
call when ready.
To park yourself to a station:
Lift the handset.
When you hear dial tone, press the PARK TO STATION button or dial the Park To
Station access code.
When you hear dial tone, dial the destination extension.
To retrieve a park to station call:
Lift the handset.
Press the button associated with the held call. The button indicator changes to
ACTIVE.
If a call is left on hold for longer than the programmed hold time limit, it recalls
the station that put it on hold.
To store a personal repertory number:
Lift the handset.
Dial the Rering access code plus the digit 2. The EXT button indicator changes to
ACTIVE. You hear system dial tone. The top line of the display module shows the
Rering dial access code and the digit 2, followed by a period.
Dial the personal repertory number (0-9), or press the PERSONAL REPERTORY
button for the personal repertory number.
Dial the number to be stored. The number can consist of a maximum of 48 digits,
including the control codes shown in Table G. The dialed digits and control codes
appear in the top line of the display. If you dial an invalid digit or control code, you
hear reorder tone
If there is a number already stored at the selected location, that number will
be automatically erased when you dial the first digit of the new number.
