Telephone Operating Instructions
❖ After you have dialed the last digit, hang up. The EXT button indicator changes
to IDLE. The personal repertory number is cleared from the display.
To make a personal repertory call using a PERSONAL REPERTORY button:
❖ Lift the handset.
❖ Press the PERSONAL REPERTORY button for the number you want to call. The
associated indicator changes to ACTIVE. If the number is valid, you hear
confirmation tone; if the destination is idle, you hear ringback tone. The display
shows the called number or PRIVATE.
If you select a PERSONAL REPERTORY button which has no number
programmed, you hear reorder tone.
To make a personal repertory call using the dial access code:
❖ Lift the handset.
❖ Dial the Rering access code plus the digit 3. The EXT button indicator changes to
ACTIVE. You hear system dial tone. If the number is valid, you hear confirmation
tone; if the destination is idle, you hear ringback tone. The display shows the
Rering access code and the digit 3, followed by a period.
❖ Dial the personal repertory number (0-9). The display shows the called number or
PRIVATE.
If you dial a personal repertory number which has no destination number
programmed, you hear reorder tone.
