Paper Thickness Sensor Adjustment
Purpose: The Paper Thickness Sensor Adjustment calibrates the Paper Thickness Sensor so that it correctly rec-
ognizes 3 different thickness ranges of media. The Paper Thickness Sensor does not measure the thick-
ness of inserted media, it determines the “thickness range” of the media.
Special Tools: The Paper Thickness Sensor Adjustment requires 4 flexible thickness gauges.
1. Remove the Left, and Right Side Covers.
2. Re-install the Paper Release Lever
