Platen Gap Adjustment
Note: The Platen Gap Adjustment sets the physical platen gap to the correct distance.
1. Remove the Left Side Cover.
2. Open the Top Cover, and defeat the Top Cover Sensor by wedging something (paper) against
the Sensor.
3. Loosen the 2 Screws that fasten the Platen Gap Step Locking Mechanism, located on the left
side of the Rear Carriage Rail.
