4. Press and hold the Left, Down, and Up buttons, and turn on the Printer (Maintenance Mode 2).
5. Using the Down button, navigate to Self Testing: Adjustment: and press the Menu button.
6. Using the Down button, navigate to ADJ: PG ADJ: and press the Menu button.
7. The Printers LCD will display [ENTER] Start.
8. Press the Menu button to start the procedure.
8.1 The Printer’s LCD will display Detecting Origin.
8.2 The Printer’s LCD will display PG Offset *(nn) (*nn = the current Platen Gap Offset).
9. Place a.65mm feeler gauge on the Platen as shown.
1. Slide the Carriage Assembly towards the feeler
gauge.
2. Increase the Platen / Print Head gap by depressing the
Up Arrow
3. Continue to increase the gap until the Print Head clears
the.65mm feeler gauge.
4. Increase the Platen Gap Offset Value be 3 more steps
than determined in step 3.
