Platen Position Adjustment
Note: This Adjustment Calibrates “Borderless” printing.
1. Load 17” Enhanced Matte roll paper.
2. From the Adjustment Wizard for the Pro 4880, select the Platen Position Adjustment.
1. Click on the Print button.
2. The Printer will print the alignment patter

6. Click the Next button.
3. Measure the distance between the printe

line, and the tab at the edge of the border

less printing pad as shown.
5. Click on the Write button.
4. Enter the offset value.
OK = Good
NG = No Good
Note: If the alignment mark is 1mm to the
right of the tab at the edge of the bor-
derless pad, the correct offset value
would be 1.
Note: If the alignment mark is 1mm to the
left of the tab at the edge of the bor-
derless pad, the correct offset value
would be -1.
