Air mass
Engine B207 Requested vs Actual + Requested vs Active Air Limiter (Traction in this case)
All other Enginetypes
Description
The Engine Control Module measures the actual air mass using a mass (air) flow sensor (MAF), which
is used to determine the mass flow rate of air entering a fuel-injected internal combustion engine.
The air mass information is necessary to balance and deliver the correct fuel mass to the engine.
On B207 engines the requested, actual and calculated air mass value is monitored. The calculated air
mass is a backup value that Trionic8 is using from the MAP-sensor. Two values can be seen at the
same time and the percentage difference between them.
